DEATH OF BR. DONALD KELLY '56

Br. Donald Joseph Kelly, F.M.S., ’56, who was baptized and confirmed at St. Helena’s Parish, graduated from St. Helena Elementary School, and attended St. Helena High School before joining the Marist Brothers, passed away this week. He was 74. Br. Kelly received his Ph.D. in Mathematics, and he was a professor for many years at Marist College. He was a generous person who always thought of the welfare of others, and he had a deep devotion to Mary. He also enjoyed playing the clarinet. He would have celebrated his 55th anniversary as a Marist Brother on August 15. His funeral will be held on Monday, August 8 at Marist College.
