Ursula (Hamper) Romano was 92 years of age, and she was a long-time parishioner at St. Helena. Her father was a German Army officer who saved many Jews from execution during World War II. He was caught and executed by firing squad for his "crime." Angela married and came with her husband to the US and worked as a nanny. After her husband's death, she worked at Alexander and then for many years s a dietitian at Westchester Square Hospital.
