HOLY WATER

Many religions use holy water for cleansing, protection, and blessing. It is sanctified by a priest or similar position in a church and is only holy water if it is sanctified. Holy means to be sanctified, so by sanctifying it yourself, it is not necessarily holy. You may come to the rectory or the sacristy to obtain Blessed Holy Water.
